The Floral Project Starter Kit
Everything you need to get started!
Two coir blocks: Coir is a sustainable, organic and peat-free alternative to traditional compost - great for sowing your seeds and growing your flowers. Created using the husk of coconuts, this is a renewable and eco-friendly resource. It decomposes over time and leaves minimal impact on the environment. Makes 18L so will keep you going for a while!
40-cell module tray: Made from recycled and recyclable plastics, using these to sow your seeds is the best way to prevent yourself sowing a hundred seeds when you only want 5 plants!
Gravel tray: Pop your module tray into this tray, water and place the seeds onto your kitchen windowsill to germinate.
Garden Marker Pen and 5 Labels: The biggest mistake I see new flower-growers make is not labelling their seeds (or using a pen that disappears in the rain). That's why I've included labels made of recyclable PP Plastic that are waterproof and reusable and a garden pen that has a fine tip with long lasting and water-resistant black ink.
Free shipping.
Bonus: How To Sow, Grow and Give Cut Flowers (usual price £45): In this workshop containing a series of bite-sized videos I'm going to take you step-by-step through the exact simple process I use to sow, grow and give flowers for the vase, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned gardener who wants to turn their hand to growing flowers.
When I began growing flowers, I had never sown a seed before in my life. And yet in my first year of growing, I managed to give away over a hundred posies to people in my local community that were lonely and isolated.
Since then, thousands of flowers have been sown, grown and given by the many people that grow along with The Floral Project, many of whom had never grown flowers for the vase before.
I recorded this workshop to share with you everything I wish I'd known when I first started, in the hope of showing you how simple, heart-warming and rewarding this process can be.
